- printed, painted and impressed marks
- 23.5cm., 9¼in.
each painted by S.Alcock, signed, with a full length portrait of a young woman, titled on the reverse, `Court Costume' and a date, the cream border with gilt and `jewelled' decoration
Condition
Overall in good condition. One plate has a 1½in. scratch to the glaze to the left of one woman. Another plate has some wear to the gilt dotted border on the edge of the well. Otherwise minor wear to gilding.
