painted in carmine with scattered flower sprays and sprigs, comprising;
a pair of ice pails and covers,
a pair of sauce tureens, covers and stands,
four lozenge-shaped fluted dishes,
twelve dessert plates



 

Condition

Ice Pails; one has a crack to the rim, approx.4½in. The other has a crack running around each handle, each approx.8in. length. It has three other cracks, the largest approx.4½in. Covers: the handle of one cover has been repaired and has a chip to one of its moulded petals, approx.½in by ½in. There are two faint haircracks to the rim, each approx. 1in. Some staining to the rim and specking to the glaze. The other cover has a large crack running across the top approx. 10in. and another crack approx. 4½in. Chip to the inner rim, approx. ½in. by ¼in. Some staining and specking to the glaze. Sauce tureens; one has a section of one handle lacking, approx. 2in. The other has a small haircrack to rim, approx. 1in. Covers; on has been broken in two lengthwise and repaired. The other in good condition. Stands; one has a shallow chip to the rim, approx. ¼in. length. The other in good condition. Both with some typical wear. Dishes; one has a break to one end, the piece lacking approx. 1½in. by 1in. Some staining to the rim and some specking to the glaze. One has a 4in. haircrack to the rim and a starcrack to teh centre, only visible on the underside. The other two in overall good condition with some wear and scratches. Plates; all with knife cuts. Two have a small chip to the rim. One of these also has two haircracks , each approx. ½in.
