Description

  • open and hatched crescent marks
comprising: a teapot and, cover, sugar bowl and a cover, milk jug, slop bowl, six teabowls and six saucers, teapot and a matched cover; also a teapot and cover, circa 1775, printed with `The Mother and Child and Man Fishing' pattern; three other Worcester blue and white teapots and covers; a composite Worcester and Caughley butter dish, cover and stand; and a pair of Worcester scale-blue ground fluted plates, circa 1770, painted with flower panels

Condition

Three Flowers pattern Teapot and cover- teapot with small nick to edge of spout. Cover possibly matching, with shallow chip to inner flange and minor chips to flower finial. Sugar Bowl and cover- bowl in good condition, print is blurrred. Cover is matched with chips to finial. Milk jug- good condition. Slop Bowl- restored chip to inside of rim, approx. 1½in. by ¼in. Six teabowls and saucers- small nicks to the footrims of 2 teabowls. Saucers in good condition. Teapot and matched cover- teapot with small chips to tip of spout.Cover with the `Fence' pattern.Minor nicks to finial. Mother and Child teapot and cover- glaze chip to tip of spout. Cover with small nicks to finial. Fence pattern teapot and cover- teapot in good condition. Cover with small nicks to finial. Chrysanthemum pattern teapot and cover- Restoratin to handle where it joins upper body. Some restoration to rim of cover. Peony pattern teapot and cover- glaze blemish to one side, approx. ¾in. by ¼in. Finila has been repaired with a metal thread. Three Flowers pattern butter tub- small chip around base Fence pattern cover- chips to finial. Caughley Fence pattern stand- small shallow chip to rim. Pair scale- blue ground plates- one with small circular bare patch to glaze approx. ¼in. Otherwise ome minor wear to enamels and gilding.
