Description

both standing, he with a barrel over his shoulder and holding a flask, she with a sheaf of corn, sickle and a flask, gold anchor marks, 19cm., 7½in., some restoration and damage: also a Derby group of lovers, circa 1775, 14cm., 5½in., some restoration and chips

Condition

Male Harvester: chip to edge of hat. Some restoration to left arm. Restoration to finger and thumb of right hand. Bottom of staff lacking below hand. Strap of barrel restored. Some restoration, chips and losses to flowers and leaves. Female: restoration to bonnet, neck, right arm, left hand, to strap of flask to tips of corn. Restoration and chips to flowers and leaves. Shallow chip to bottom edge of skirt, approx. ¾ by ¼in. Top of tree lacking. Restored chip to base. Derby lovers: male with restoration to right hand, to scroll in left hand and to one bottom corner of jacket. Female with restored head and right hand. Dog extensively restored. Lamb with restored left ear. Restoration to top of tree stump. Chips to flowers and leaves. Minor glaze chips.
