Description

standing before a flower tree, raised on a scroll-moulded base, 19.5cm., 7¾in.; also a small Bow figure of a sportsman, circa 1760, standing with a dog at his side, 14cm., 5½in.; and a pair of Derby groups of the Welch tailor and wife, early 19th century

Condition

New Dancer: restoration to feather in hat. Restoration to both arms. Restoration to the front two scroll moulded feet. Top of tree stump and ends of branches broken off. Extensive chips to flowers and leaves. Sportsman: restoration to right arm. Top of gun broken off in manufacture. Minor wear to enamels and gilding. Quite a number of chips to flowers and leaves. Tailor: restoration to hat, right arm and both legs. Goat with restoration to horns, ears, neck, tail and to iron in its mouth. Chips to horns and ears of kid goats. Chips to flowers and leaves. Wife: small chips to edge of bonnet. Restoration to her left leg. Goat with restoration to both horns, one ear and tail.Kid goat with restored tail. One flower lacking. Some chips to flowers. Some wear to enamels and gilding.
