Description

  • the second cup and saucer with three dots in underglaze-blue to the edge of the footrings of saucer and cup

the first decorated with a faux-cameo portrait of a classical figure en profil surrounded by a matt gilt laurel wreath cartouche, a formal floral border beneath the rims, the second finely painted with a bouquet of flowers in a gilt cartouche against an underglaze-blue ground, the third with small portraits of ladies alternating with matt gilt flowers against a vermiculé ground, the saucer with attributes of love and fidelity
