decorated with a cartouche enclosing a scene of Venus and Cupid reading a letter, the other with a continuous scene of a figure pointing at a pyramid, the saucers each with four trophies and Egyptian symbols, all against a brown ground

Condition

Left cup and saucer in catalogue illustration: small area of rubbing to bottom tip of gilt cup handle. very minor, narrow area of rubbing to outside edge of gilt border of saucer. Otherwise both in good condition.
