- Albaret and Mathieu, Geneva, circa 1830
- diameter 5.5cm, 2 1/8 in
circular, the lid and base enamelled in translucent royal blue and decorated with crescent-shaped sky blue paillons forming a scale pattern within blue taille d'épargne enamel borders
Condition
The sides have been re-enamelled, and there is an additional patch of restoration at side. Cracks to edge of enamel centre at base. Minor losses to enamel borders (see catalogue photo, loss is at 8 o'clock). Base rim is slightly battered. Colours are more vibrant and attractive than they appear in the catalogue photo.
