struck 750, circa 1910
- width 8.5cm, 3 3/8 in
rounded rectangular, the lid and base with ivory and engine-turned gold stripes, the ends wrapped with bands of chased entwining foliage on a matted ground, the sides applied with chased gold rosettes, gold lining
Condition
Generally good condition. Some of the ivory segments have discoloured with age. Small losses to ivory at right and left sides near front corners. Interior in need of a cleaning. The thin gold edge mount at right side of lid is loose and needs re-attached.
