Description
- French, mid 18th century
- width 8cm, 3 1/8 in
rectangular with baluster sides, the lid, sides and base decorated in raised gilding picked out in translucent green with a scrolling web design, later gilt-metal mounts
Condition
Generally very good condition. Minor hair cracks inside and out. Small enamel losses to lid at lower left (see catalogue photo). Wear to base.
