A cupboard French, incorporating late 16th/early 17th panels

walnut, the rectangular top, above a pair of panelled doors each with two panels centred by a boss flanked by a 'choux-bourguignon' above two panels carved with a lunette enclosing an elongated leaf, opening to reveal a shelf, each side with four raised rectangular panels and an iron handle

This lot, whilst reconstructed, is attractive. The doors are in relatively good condition and the carving is good. There are some black marks, notably a circular one at the top of the left door (visible in the photograph). There are some separations at the lock site. There are separations to the carcase. There are traces of worm. The shelves have been replaced.
