Description
carved giltwod, comprising two bergères and two chairs, each bergère with a rectangular padded back surmounted by a shaped toprail, above downscrolled padded arms carved with lotus leafs and bowed loose cushion seat, the seat rail and toprail carved with flowerheads, the arm supports carved with bellflowers, on paw feet, each chair with a rectangular padded back above a rectangular padded seat within a similar carved frame; regilded, gilding worn (4)

The stamp corresponds to the association between François-Honoré-Georges Jacob and Georges II Jacob between 1796 and 1803.
Condition
Good solid condition, though the gilding is very worn and chipped. The upholstery is in general good condition.
