white marble, carved with caryatids and applied with gilt-bronze mounts
Condition
Very good except for the following observations. One example with chipped outer corner and another corner on a projecting terminal with a repair. The other example with chipped outer corners on the two projecting terminals and one of these retains the chipped section which is taped back on. Gilt details are complete. These fireplaces are 20th century copies.
