An unusual elevator compartment French, late 19th century

chinoiserie decorated, interior with distressed lining and a pine floor, the ivorine control panel including maker's title 'Vernes, Guinet, Sigrons & Cie, Paris' 

Unusual item but very worn and of untidy appearance. Gilt and paint rubbed and with some exposed gesso. Partial split in lower left door and partial splits in rear corners near the base. Interior fabric lining very poor including tears. A lot of wear to floor.
