tulipwood and kingwood with chequer inlay, with a grey veined marble top
Condition
Fair. There is some chipping to the rear rim of the marble top and some very slight chipping to the moulded border of the top. The frieze comprises a drawer flanked by two short drawers and these short drawers with old timber replacements to the former locks. All drawers now with fabric lining. Poor fitting and variations to the brass cappings on the feet and the right front foot now lacking a capping. There is some movement between the marble top and the commode. There are some repaired veneers on the apron. Feet possibly later. There is partial splitting on the left side of this commode.
