Description
- h.75.5cm., diam.128cm.
satinwood, stamped GILLOWS to the top of the base
Condition
Impressive. The table has been subject to use. The top has a typical separation and the surface has some pronounced large old scratches. There are separations to the apron moulding on the frieze and some of this moulding is loose. There is an old split through the pillar. Usual separations in the tripod. Indications of a possible former finial applied to the underside of the stem as there is some exposed timber on the sides of the base between the legs that possibly accommodated scroll motifs that form part of the former component.
