mahogany, the later fabric tester with matching headboard, the carved and parcel gilt cornice above two pairs of pillars

Condition

Of impressive and elegant appearance. Generally tidy but the decorative cornice is delicate with repairs and losses. This includes a repair in the front right corner of the bed end. Two of the gilt gadrooned surmounting finials are now lacking from the bed end cornice and one of these lacking from the right long side cornice. Fabric tidy but some wear and ghosting on fabric of the tester.
