Condition
The painting would appear to be in generally very good condition. The work is ready to hang and in need of no further attention.
The canvas would appear to be unlined. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals an uneven varnish, but there is evidence of touches of repaint to the edges of the canvas, to the bay horse, and to the roof.
Held in a gilt wood frame.
