Condition
Oil on paper laid down on canvas.
Examination under ultraviolet light reveals a thick uneven varnish which obscures a clear reading. However, there is evidence of minor scattered retouchings to the lioness and cubs. There is evidence of a minor damage in the lower right hand corner with associated repaint.
Held in a gilt wood frame.
