Condition
The canvas has been lined. There is some craquelure to the paint surface as well as a layer of decayed varnish. The painting should clean well.
Examination under ultraviolet light reveals some retouching to old paint losses in the right hand corner. There are some scattered retouchings in the foliage and in the sky.
Held in a plain gilt wood frame.
