Condition

The canvas has been lined. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals the work to be in generally good condition. The paint surface is very dirty and should be transformed by cleaning. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals some scattered touches of repaint. These are all minor. Held in a gilt wood frame with plaster mouldings.
