Condition
The sheet is mounted and appears to be sound with no apparent damages. The pen and ink is strong and the colours are well preserved. There are no sings of foxing. Held behind glass in a simple period frame.

The setting of the present work is Gude's property at Sølvkronen. Located by Horten, a town close to Åsgårdstrand, Gude lived there in the latter years of his life.
