Condition
The canvas has been relined. There are some retouchings, notably to the right riverbank, to the base of the tree to the left of the work (visible under ultraviolet light). Apart from some minor frame abrasions to the right edge this work is in overall good condition with bright colours and fine texture throughout.
Held in a plaster moulded gilt frame.
