There is a small spot of retouching towards the centre of the distant hills visible under ultraviolet light. There is a pinhole in the extreme upper left corner, a small spot of paint loss in the sky just above the hills towards the left edge and some small pinhead-sized dots of paint loss to the lower left edge, otherwise the paint surface is overall in good condition. Held in a simple gilt wood frame.
