- a pair, both oil on canvas, in marbled frames
- each circa 96 by 86 cm.
Condition
The catalogue illustrations are representative for the actual paintings. Both canvases are relined. The paint surface is in good condition, no damages are visible and the varnish layer is clear. Some small discoloured retouchings can be seen in the fruits.
Inspection under UV-light reveals a few additional minor retouchings in both paintings, e.g. strengthening of the grapes and some spots in the marble socles. Offered in faux marble wood frames, as illustrated in the catalogue, in good condition (JD).
