pewter, each pot flagon with twin acorn thumbpieces, the larger Guernsey type with London marks and the initials 'RCB' and a Woolmer Collection label to the underside, the smaller Jersey type seemingly unmarked, the plates with initials 'GH', by Thomas Compton, Brick Lane, London (apprenticed 1765, died 1817).
