Original canvas.
PAINT SURFACE
The painting appears to be in good original condition, and has retained much of its original depth. There are some very minor surface marks which should clean off easily and there is an even cracquelure characteristic of age.

Ultraviolet light does not reveal any re-touching or repair work..

Held in an ornate gilt wood and plaster frame.
