de forme globulaire, le couvercle en peau cousue orné d'un décor perlé et d'une chaînette métallique.



Ce type de boîte à priser était porté par les anciens en collier, suspendu à une chaîne. Superbe patine brun rouge, profonde.

Condition

Good condition overall. Wear consistent with age and use within the culture. Ivory bowl: old radial hairline crack to base (stable), issuing hairline cracks which run up bowl, as evidenced by the catalogue illustration. One plant fibre handle missing, the other intact. Leather lid: some minor bead losses, as evidenced by the catalogue illustration. Upper surface of lid slightly warped in areas.
