rectangulaire, à décor de chevrons gravés en champlevé, sommé d'un bouton. Grande délicatesse dans la sculpture et le décor gravé ; très belle patine d'usage, brun rouge.



Les peignes en ivoire étaient utilisés par les Baulé comme parure de tête.

Good condition overall. Wear consistent with age and use within the culture. A small old loss to finial (approximately 1mm). Very tips of tines slightly rubbed from use, a small old loss to one tip (approximately 1mm).
