Pièce d'étoffe de raphia froncé, très finement tressé, formant une longue jupe à l'extrémité frangée. Le décor obtenu selon la technique "tie-dye" (teinture à la réserve sur nœuds) montre des motifs circulaires en camaïeu de brun et jaune orangé, offrant de très belles nuances de couleurs.
Les longs pagnes en raphia, qui pouvaient aussi servir de linceul, étaient portés par les femmes Dida lors de cérémonies.

Good condition overall. Wear consistent with age and use within the culture. The cloth is lined with cloth and suspended from a wooden rod.
