komé, de forme classique rectangulaire à nervure centrale, percé de deux trous de suspension dans sa partie supérieure et se prolongeant par un "pied" balustre triangulaire. Superbe patine d'usage beige rosé, parcheminée sur la tranche, brun rouge et brillante sur la face interne.
Selon Bagnolo (2007 : 135), cet ornement est "considéré comme le plus puissant des pendentifs de Bàbà - objet de protection que seuls les grands chasseurs teésé, fondateurs de la branche mère du culte, pouvaient arborer".

Fair condition overall. Wear consistent with age and use within the culture.
Old worn areas behind the 'eyes' at reverse. An area of restoration (infilled) at top left (as shown in catalogue illustration), approximately 2cm wide at widest (on reverse). The small area of restoration on the front leads to a narrow crack approximately 6.5cm long.
