de forme classique, évasées à la base et munies au sommet d'une anse. Elles sont décorées de motifs de pointillés et de spirales en bas-relief. Belle patine ancienne vert-de-gris oxydé.
Ces cloches d'un type ancien, fondues à la cire perdue, se rattachent à la tradition dite "industrie du bronze du Bas-Niger" (XIVe siècle). Elles avaient pour fonction d'annoncer la présence d'importants dignitaires religieux ou politiques, et de lutter contre les mauvais esprits.
