de forme incurvée, sculpté d'un décor ajouré en X et entièrement orné de clous de laiton. Belle patine d'usage, brune.



Symbole d'autorité, ce siège était la propriété personnelle des anciens de haut rang et des notables. Ceux-ci les emportaient avec eux lorsqu'ils étaient appelés à sièger lors des assemblées judiciaires. Les clous de laiton indiquent la richesse du propriétaire.

Condition

Good condition overall. Wear consistent with age and use within the culture. Minor losses to the ends of the feet. A few brass tacks missing. An old break on the foot, indigenously repaired with a piece of leather and brass tacks.
