L'assise-dossier ajourée, à anses en demi-cercle, est ornée d'un motif gravé de chevrons et de quadrillés. Elle est portée par un pied monoxyle évidé. Symbole d'autorité, ce siège était l'apanage exclusif des chefs et des notables Mongo.

Good condition overall. Wear consistent with age and use within the culture. One end of the seat has been broken and repaired (glue). A few cracks and minor losses to the ends of the feet.
