en forme de gourde, une face bombée, l'autre plate, munie de deux anses percées d'un trou de supension. La face bombée est gravée de motifs d'arabesques et de rosaces soulignés de fils de laiton torsadés et rivetés de clous, le long col recouvert d'une plaque de laiton martelée et gravée. Belle patine d'usage.



Elle servait à conserver et à transporter la poudre des armes à feu, introduites dès le XVIe siècle en Afrique du Nord.

Good condition overall. Wear consistent with age and use within the culture. Scratches to the metallic leaf on the neck. Lacking a stopper. Nice patina of use.
