- A MINIATURE RED LACQUER CABINET, 18TH/19TH CENTURY
- 56cm high
with two small doors over two larger doors above a single drawer, each carved with dragons in relief chasing flaming pearls amoungst breaking waves
Condition
Generally pretty good condition. There is a replaced bronze handle to the left lower door of the cabinet. There is quite a bit of touching up with red paint/colouring on the edges of the drawers, cupboard doors, corners of the doors and the cabinet itself and the front lower interior edges to the cabinet where the doors close on the piece. There is a small area of lacquer loss to the side of the front left leg. There is also touching up of the dragon on the left hand top door (our right). There are a couple of minor areas of damage to the back left edge of the piece.
