  • A GILT BRONZE FIGURE OF MANJUSRI, TIBETAN, 15th CENTURY, BEARING A YONGLE MARK
  • inscription to the base, 16cm high
seated in dhyanasana with hands in dharamcakra mudra, wearing body jewellery inlaid with semi-precious stones, with a sword on a lotus, with lotuses at his left and right shoulders, on a lotus base




 

Condition

Generally good condition, but has rubbing to gilding in various places. The sword to his right shoulder is bent adn the base plate is missing.
