  • AN UNUSUAL INCISED PURPLE-GLAZED DISH CARVED MARK AND PERIOD OF QIANLONG
  • 19.4cm diameter
carved with a full-faced five-clawed dragon suspended amidst scrolling lingzhi-shaped clouds, its scaly body twisting to encircle a 'flaming-pearl', the exterior with a pair fo striding dragons in pursuit of pearls, covered overall in a glossy deep-purple glaze extending to the footrim with three spur marks

Condition

There is a minute chip to the rim and glaze scratches to the interior. There is three chip-like areas to the foot rim, which relate to the removal of firing spurs.
