  • 12cm high
the vessel of double walled construction , the pale turquoise sides pierced with alternative honeycomb and geometric pattern , the pale pink borers enamelled in white with turquoise  "jewelled" zig zag ribbons embellished with gilt foliate scrolls, the base of the spout encircled by a band of applied "pearls"



Date cipher for 1877, puce printed and impressed crowned marks, iron red painted 'rsi to the foot for the gilder Samuel Ranford.

Condition

Overall very good condition, small surface chip to the tip of spout, the underside with a fine hairline extending around the foot rim which is not in evidence on the interior as it is double walled - possibly occurred at the time of manufacture, tiny nicks to a few of the 'jewels'
