the cover bearing the crest with letter 'M' this was possibly part of a service commissioned for the Grand Duke Mikhail Nikolaevich the last born son of Emperor Nicholas I of Russia and the Empress Charlotte of Prussia the oher crest is of Imperial Russia with St George killing the Dragon, the cover and base are opulently decorated with floral and leaf motif on scroll feet
