  • A FINE GEORGE II WALNUT LIBRARY CHAIR, CIRCA 1740
with petit and gros point needlework, the cartouche to back depicting a young maiden between  flowering trees, the seat cartouche with birds amongst flowers and foliage, all within scrolling borders and floral surround,  padded arm rests, with carved serpentine downswept arms, carved acanthus leaf knees to front legs and on scroll feet, plain pad feet to back legs

Condition

good condition, some of the upholstery has been reworked and may not have been originally for this particular chair
