A group of five large belthooks
19th / 20th century

comprising four belthooks carved from honey-toned jade, green jadeite, opaque white jade with black inclusions, and brown and russet jade, each with horned dragons at the terminals and a further qilong on the shafts, the last in translucent agate with similar dragon-head terminal, but carved to the shaft in low relief with archaistic scrolls enclosing precious emblems (5)
