17th / 18th century
the low hollowed vessel of oval section, carved in high relief with a sinuous qilong with a curling bifurcated tail and long straight mane clambering up one side, the brown and russet stone mottled with darker blushes overall;  together with a jade ring pendant, the asymmetrical flattened ring carved on the exterior using a white inclusion with a coiled qilong and bats amongst swirling clouds, the stone of brownish-celadon tone with russet and white inclusions (2)
