Catalogue Note

As Marc Brown states, "This is what started it all."  This sketch was made after a bedtime story Marc Brown told his son Tolon about a little aardvark who wanted to change his nose.  There are now over 130 books about Arthur published and a hit PBS television series that has won six Emmy awards and the prestigious George Foster Peabody Award for outstanding television.
