Condition

In fair condition with later painted decoration and partial gilding. Probably originally ebonized. Frames loose and in need of tightening. Some losses and chips thoroughout. Backs were originally lined with textiles now with nail heads and remnants of loose threads and casters added later. In need of new backing.

Catalogue Note

The four large central panels each measure approximately 25 1/2  by 19 1/2  in. and depict coaching scenes.  The eight smaller panels each measure approximately 11 1/2  by 19 1/2  in. and depict sporting and carriage scenes.
