The following condition report was kindly provided by Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc.: This painting is in good condition. The canvas has been lined onto a new stretcher. The paint layer is stable although slightly dirty and with an uneven varnish. There are some small retouches here and there throughout the composition, mainly in the sky and along the bottom of the foreground, most notably around and through the signature. The signature itself appears to have been strengthened. There is also restoration around all four edges addressing frame abrasion.
