The following condition report was kindly provided by Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc.: Some of the colors in this painting show quite strongly under ultraviolet light however, there does not appear to be any restoration to the surface. The canvas is has not been lined and the paint layer is stable. The painting has most likely never been cleaned. In the upper center of the sky there are a few white spots, possibly of house paint or some unrelated paint, which are quite visible and these will need to be cleaned off. However, the remainder of the picture seems to be undamaged and a light cleaning and varnish will suffice.
