STRUCTURE This picture is in fair condition with strong colours throughout. The picture is thinly painted and the movement of the brush through the paint has resulted in seperation. This appears to have taken place at the time of the picture's execution and the paint surface appears to be stable. UNDER ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT There is a small area of minor cosmetic retouching in the lower right corner and perhaps a few flecks of retouching elsewhere. These retouchings appear to be old and are no visible to the naked eye. FRAME: This picture is contained in a simple later wooden and gilt frame.
