Condition
STRUCTURE
This picture is unlined and in good condition with clear colours and fine detail. A small patch has been applied to the reverse to repait a hole or tear but this is not visible to the naked eye. There is no visible craquelure and the paint surface appears to be stable throughout. The picture is ready to hang.
UNDER ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT
There is one small area of retouching above the head of the fisherman which corresponds to the patch on the reverse of the canvas.

Contained in a decorative plaster moulded frame.
