STRUCTURE This picture has a wax lining and is in good, clean condition with no no visible condition problems. The colours are strong and clear and the detail is fine throughout. There are no signs of craquelure and the paint surface appears stable throughout. The picture is ready to hang. UNDER ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT There are sweeping retouchings in the sky and minor flecked retouchings to the coat of the white dog. There are further retouchings to the girl's shoulder. These retouchings have been well applied and are not visible to the naked eye. FRAME Contained in a simple gilt frame.
